My Kingdom for a Horse

“A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!” are the last words Richard shouts on the battlefield in Shakespeare’s play Richard III. The idea that a king would give up his kingdom would seem over dramatic but without a horse his fate was sealed. It is still the case that something small is often needed for a successful outcome. We have given our design an amusing twist by giving Richard a hobby horse which of course would be of no help at all.
