This utterly adorable dog and hare is based on a corbel from Kilpeck Church in Herefordshire. The 12th century church is adorned with many quirky stone carvings. These were carved by the Herefordshire School; a group of master masons working in this part of the country. The carving is thought to represent friendship and togetherness.
