Two children set off on a winding path and as they travel they pass characters from all the well known nursery rhymes and fairy tales. The poster was designed by Philippa Threlfall in 1964 and published by James Galt and it sold in the thousands throughout the sixties and seventies. Many grownups remember it on the wall from when they were children. Philippa (who was a partner at Black Dog until 2016) reclaimed the printing rights to reproduce the poster once again. In 2013 our last remaining copy of the 1960’s poster was scanned and printed for Black Dog so now parents and grandparents can introduce it to a new generation.

(Please Note. If you have seen an original 1960's poster and decide to purchase a new copy of this poster, pleased do not expect it to be identical. The original posters were a matt print on 1960's presses and our poster is a scan of a 1960's copy. Our scan is a faithful copy but the print which is in satin (not matt), is a little less vibrant but is just as grainy as the original.)

The poster is printed on 210 gsm satin paper with dimensions of 100cm x 70cm and comes in a card tube.
