Price £38 (including UK Tracked post) for us to specially create a copy of this tile. The mould is retrieved from storage and set up for the press. The design is based on an ivory carving of The Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds. This 12th century carving is typical of the Romanesque sculpture and manuscript painting from Cologne area Germany. It is now in the Victoria & Albert Museum. There are several plaques of the same style which suggest that this one was part of a large altar frontal or decorated a pulpit.
