Price £38 (including UK Tracked post) for us to specially create a copy of this tile. The mould is retrieved from storage and set up for the press. Inscription: SPRING
One of a set of four tiles depicting the seasons. The imagery is based on contemporary wood engravings originally made for end-pieces and book illustrations by Thomas Bewick and his followers. A ring dove sits on a leafy branch of oak, against the background of a water wheel, farm buildings and woodland. Individually or as part of a set of four theses delightful tiles remind us of the countryside and the changing faces of Nature.
