Inscription: THE HORSE IS GOD'S GIFT TO MANKIND
The design is based on a 19th century painting: a groom schools the proud horse which is dressed with elaborate trappings, echoed by the rich background pattern. “The horse is God’s gift to mankind” is an Arabian proverb. The Arab horse is a breed that originated on the Arabian Peninsula and it is believed to be one of the oldest breeds dating back 4,500 years. The Arabian horse has spread worldwide helping to improve other breeds by adding speed, refinement and endurance.
