Mole
New design launched late October 2020
A mole has pushed the earth up to appear against a rich pattern of flowers, based on the mille-fleurs tapestries. With its powerful digging paws a mole can tunnel up to 20 metres a day in search of earthworms and larvae. They are solitary creatures except for breeding when the female can have up to a litter of five in the summer. Their underground life means they are rarely seen but their presence is noted from their characteristic molehills.
